okay i know there’ve been plenty of posts on the subject but a big ol’ reminder: don’t put your negativity on fanart/gifsets/any kind of creation. you might think its a compliment but its fucking annoying and a little bit hurtful. things like “i dont like this ship but this is cool” or “i hate this show but this is awesome” or “well this is cool BUT i think x is cooler” are just plain rude and as a gifmaker it’s extremely disheartening. make a post after you reblog it or something saying like “with that last gifset/art just letting you all know im not in the fandom i just thought it was cool” if you really have to let people know for your sanity or whatever

but content makers check the tags on their creations and seeing a stream of shit like that is extremely discouraging and very very annoying
